Snappeers Return To The Wild


		Snappeer a common snapping turtle was rescued and nursed back to health as a hatchling by junior NEWHerp member Katie Swanson and her parents. These are some pictures taken when the fat healthy yearling Snappeer was returned to the wild to live out his life in a private farm irrigation pond located in an area where he will be safe and have plenty of food and cover.
